Just checking for a friend. I remember reading somewhere that you can only apply for one post-graduate medicine course (i.e. only apply for one university) if you intend to do post-graduate Medicine...is this true? I remember it was on pagingdr so it should be quite reliable, but I just can't find the source nor any confirmation on Google.

No, i wouldn't think that would be true, just like undergraduate medicine you can apply to as many institutions as you like

Well, UQ and Usyd would be very solid med courses as they have alot of resources and are exclusively post-graduate (so is flinders), i.e totally focused on those students. UWA has a very respectable med faculty, as does monash, although it's in gippsland which deters a few people from going there

The deakin course is new and to be honest i don't know a whole lot about it accept the massive uproar from other students because all med kids were guaranteed an accomadation spot. Bond, griffith and wollongong were never universities i looked at for prerequisite reasons (i didn't do maths in year 12)

I did hear that UND (University of Notre Dame) were struggling with their med course a little bit and had to call in a few favours from UWA to make sure their students passed, i think it was something to do with accreditation issues
