My principal called me!

Okay, this is so strange... I didn't get dux (wasn't even close to it... Maybe top 15?) and he still called me to congratulate me on my efforts! I mean, I asked the dux, and he didn't even call her!

Maybe I just need to calm down and get over it; because I'm in such a state of shock right now... He called me.  ;D

Did anyone else's principal call them? (Obviously :D)

The principal at my school didn't call me lol... but she did offer me a job at the school when I graduated, when I saw her a few weeks later (I was going to be a teacher)

A couple of teachers came and said congrats to me when I went to get some stuff off school on results day, even though I did Shit! (10th highest at my school)

It was so awkward! I mean, I was on the computer, and my mum called out 'Bob's on the phone!'... I was like 'the principal?' and she was like 'yes!'.

Then when I talked to him, he said how proud he was of me, and constantly pertained to my hard work throughout the year! Then I told him my score, and he was so proud, he even said 'wow' to my 23 in Italian. :D

Then he thought I was going to Melbourne uni... XD

And he said again, the work throughout the whole year had contributed to my excellent score. (I was the only person who stayed after school EVERY DAY just to do my homework... And he always saw me to say hi! ;D)

Haha, I actually feel really good about my ENTER score now! I need to get my principal a present. XD

@ RD: As if 10th highest is shit? You should be proud of what you got, no matter what happened! Just getting that phone call made me appreciate how good my score actually was!

Yeah mine did last year too, and our school has like 1500 students, so it was a pretty nice gesture. It was the first time i'd actually had a conversation with him, lol

My school gave me $500 for getting 44 in Turkish xD.

Yeah my principal called me too! On monday morning, it was awkward too!

I got a letter in the mail today congradulating me! :)

He called the 90+ people (the whole 20 of us!)
