couldn't they have at least killed it first? or do piranhas not eat dead things?

Nah they eat any meat... just these guys thought it would be entertaining to feed live mice to hungry piranhas. Theres also a sickening video of piranhas eating a frog.. and half the frogs body is ripped off but its still swimmin around for several minutes :|

   my friend said rabbiting is like that.

Incidentally, he does Vet Science [at Umelb]; everybody in our circle of friends was really surprised when he took it up, we were like "no way! he's so into hurting animals rather than helping them :P

Quite an interesting vid. I have no problem with it, if you read the note, you would see that these were feeder mice. Its just nature taking its course.
