Walk up the escalators at the end of your platform (follow the crowds, its impossible to miss), then you will be in a big enclosed area, where you can see the ticket turnstiles etc etc.

(You should be able to see Fed Square if you look in front of you from near the top of the escalators.)

Head out the main turnstiles which are on the left, walk out here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/stefanmuntwyler/359921355/) down the famous steps, and across the massive crossing. Keep walking straight and your on it. Its very hard to miss, and essentially anybody you ask will be able to tell you which way to go.

Nothing to worry about, i can guarantee its very easy.

You don't seem to understand the problem is I want to see what flinders st station looks like as a floor plan so I dont get scared :P Therefore, outside places eg fed square are useless if I can't get to them :P

I don't care about all the streets

Just follow Memkas advice. You just go up the escalator from the platform and then follow the signs/crowds

Does your picture have 'the famous steps' in it?

There's a flower shop at the exit you're after.
And lots of clocks overhead with departing times.
If worst comes to worst, act like a tourist (me speak no English?) and ask the customer service people at the barriers and ticket thingys.

And there's usually emos sitting on the steps. Tho they've been evicted for the most part, and now they sit on the street a little bit down the road.

Mao... tis a very, very crude map indeed.
Choo choo train? xD xD
Loves it, lol. :smitten:
