I'm truly sorry. He was just generalising the whole uni.

I'm sorry. I'm over it.

If there's anything I can do it show you i'm seriously sorry,  I would.

Hard, its clear that you are trolling this forum, and are just posting inflammatory posts in order to intentionally get a reaction. I guess you are just acting your age, and being a dickhead.

how the hell am i trying to start arguments? are you ok? because clearly all i said was i think melb uni is crap, and here you have people like applexy write a pointless argument! if i think melb uni sux get the hell over it! seriously some people need a life other than base your life around a single university trying to protect it as if you own it. If you didn't agree with me say i don't agree with you.

You have a right to your opinion. You don't have a right to be abusing in transmitting that message.

Same applies to you Prav.

Surely, u knew that referring to a uni as 'sucking bison balls' was going to warrant some sort of retalliation given that a number of people on these forums including myself are UoM students, but I could perhaps be over estimating your intelligence and perhaps your vocabulary limits you to using such remarks. Choose your words carefully next time, or alternatively buy a dictionary and start expanding your vocabulary so you  don't write any more crap when expressing your opinions.

Combined with what? BA or BE (or BCompSci, BCom..)?

You generally complete the same course load, except you may not get as much flexibility in electives (this is where they tend to combine).

It all depends man. There are positives and negatives.

Myself, it means I can't do any minors, but for engineering I suffer little. I do Maths, Physics and Chemistry this year as part of my sci degree, and they count to BOTH science and engineering. Next year I do Maths and Physics throughout the year. The year after that, I do only Maths (2 subjects per semester), and the year after that I'll do 4 subjects (2 per semester) of Physics to close out a Physics major.

So, in terms of credit points, I think I only do 4 less units than a normal sci degree person and those are usually taken up by a minor/electives in the normal degree. All you lose is a bit of choice. I'm not fussed though, it's more or less the same. That's ONLY if you do eng though. If you do commerce or law with it, it becomes different and my thoughts are of little use to you.

... Don't make me own you. I matched your IPs a while back and took a screenshot. If you want, I can just re-ban you and post the proof pix.

Hmm, I think you'd have to overload in 2nd (or 3rd) year to do that. In fact I'm pretty sure of it. If you want to do majors outside of Maths or Physics, you have to overload.
