I just did some (very) brief research, and I can't find evidence to suggest that someone by that name is in the Olympics...

Do you mean John Steffensen? If you do, i think he only competes in the 400m (which he isn't in). Btw, no Aussies are in the 400m finals.

Usain Bolt is running tonight, although after 12, in the 200m finals. Hope he breaks the world record  ;)

EDIT: after searching through Wikipedia, he does specialise in the 200m.
