PROBLEM WITH PLAYING DVD ON LAPTOP ---> VERY ANGRY!!!

I bought HSM (High School Musical) 1 & 2 yesterday right.
I tried playing HSM2 on laptop but instead of it autoplaying the dvd or offering an option to play the dvd it just open up audio and video folders. There is no option for me to play the dvd even when i right click on the dvd in my computer.

However HSM1 is fine when i put it in and it plays liike any normal dvd should

WHAT IS WRONG??? IM REALLY CUT
(both dvds work fine on a normal dvd player)

Extra info: both the audio and video folders are blank when I click into them

What happens if you try another DVD (ie not HSM, I assume you watch something else in your life. I hope so, anyway 0=) )

I dont know I am just trying to suggest things :P

It could be some silly piracy thing or something, some of my cds show up blank unless I use itunes on them.

Don't listen to any of this advice btw I'm not very good at computers. I just chuck ideas out there :P

I cbf trying another DVD but HSM1 playing on it is a testament that other DVD's do work.

Yeh I was thinking it could be a piracy thing but that would be really annoying and I don't know why the wouldnt have done it with HSM 1 then.

1. What programs have you used so far to try and play DVD
2. Make the effort to find a legit DVD of a movie if you have one

try dragging the file called VIDEO_TS.IFO from the DVD into one of the media players, or going file>open>VIDEO_TS.IFO (it will be in the videos folder)

Also, have you tried on just a standard DVD player?
