ron paul was the best especially he's speeches, they seemed to true not like other bs that politicians talk about; although he was likely talking bs also :p. Anyway, as it stands i voted obama due to the fact he is not associated with the iraq policies that bush and Mccain have.

Ever wondered if the entire world could vote?

http://www.iftheworldcouldvote.com/

Although most people that are going to actually see this are undoubtedly young and computer-savvy on average, which would be a demographic that leans heavily towards Obama

gosh u bandwagon obama supporters are such fanatics.

to be honest, neither of them should be president and both of their vice's are worse.

The best of the four (Obama, McCain, and their vices) is Sarah Palin, in my opinion.

I don't agree with a fair bit of her positions, but I'd say the same for any of the other three too!

In my opinion, Sarah Palin is the worst out of all 4.
She's is one of the worst things that has ever happened to women.
And I'm annoyed that she believes she's a feminist, when her views and policy positions state that she is not.

Sarah Palin in a nutshell:
-She doesn't think date rape is 'real' rape
-She doesn't think rape in marriage is rape
-Made rape victims pay for their own rape test kits
-Wanted to know how to ban books in the local library, and then fired a librarian.
-Thinks living near Russia contributes to her foreign policy experience
-Is against homosexuality
-Is an evangelical christian with an extremely narrow mind. (SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!!)
-Didn't know what the vice-president did a month before she was nominated by John McCain
-Doesn't support stem-cell research
-Is against teaching evolution in schools, and instead, wants "intelligent design" to be taught
-Is against sex education and is a supporter of abstinence only education. Oh and her teenage daughter is pregnant. IRONY.
-Was a beauty queen.
And that's about it.

This is all I know about her at the moment.

So, how the hell is she the best of the 4?

And she's against abortion, even in cases involving rape and incest.

Basically, she's not for the rights of women.
She's against them.
She's also for censorship.

If she lived in Australia, I bet she would be a member of the Family First party.

Her comments and previous policies on rape crush my soul.

Find me sources for those political positions. Some of them are true, but like I said, I disagree with other candidates just as much. I'm not going to bother defending the indefensible, because I wouldn't vote for any of these two tickets.

Biden and Obama are clueless on economic issues, unable to comprehend the unintended consequences of their well-meaning regulations. For one, they wish to stop outsourcing. Secondly, they attribute the failure of the financial markets to a lack of regulation, ignoring rapidly growing regulations in the 80s, and market distortions introduced a decade before the crash. The Democrats actually encouraged these firms through a public-private partnership to lend to poor families that were incapable of paying back the loans! Guess who won from that deal? The corporations did. The taxpayers have to pay for the illiquid assets now.

McCain is worse. He also has no clue about economics either, but if his expertise is really foreign policy, then a "hundred years in Iraq" sums it up.

What makes Sarah Palin more qualified than the other three in terms of economic management?

Quote
Palin describes herself as a fiscal conservative. At the Republican National Convention, Palin stated "I came to office promising to control spending - by request if possible and by veto if necessary... I suspended the state fuel tax, and championed reform to end the abuses of earmark spending by Congress."

Palin supports free-market competition in health care, and laws allowing patients better access to medical pricing information. In 2008, Palin said she was considering incentives for employers to provide health insurance. She added that changes must also include citizens "choosing to take more personal responsibility" to be healthier.

In a September 18, 2008 speech at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Palin said, "Our opponents, they have some strange ideas about raising taxes. To them, raising taxes – and Joe Biden said it again today – raising taxes is about patriotism. To the rest of America, that's not patriotism. Raising taxes is about killing jobs and hurting small businesses and making things worse. This isn't about anyone's patriotism – it's about Barack Obama's poor judgement."

Various quotes from Wikipedia.

Essentially, she's wise enough to realise her incompetence. "I don't know how to run the economy!" So leave it to the marketplace - you spend your own money. We know it produces good outcomes through the process of market rivalry, and more importantly, it is the only justified system of economic activity - you are responsible for your own choices.

From Wikipedia:

Palin is a social conservative. A lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), Palin believes the right to bear arms includes handgun possession, and has advocated gun safety education for youth.[181] She supports capital punishment.[182] Palin supports allowing the discussion of creationism in public schools, but says it does not have to be part of the curriculum.[183] Palin opposes same-sex marriage and supported a non-binding referendum for an Alaskan constitutional amendment to deny state health benefits to same-sex couples.[121][184] Palin has called herself "as pro-life as any candidate can be"[184] and has called abortion an "atrocity."[185]

Palin believes that abortion should be banned in nearly all cases, including rape and incest, except if the life of the mother is endangered.[186][187] She has said she would support a constitutional amendment with that effect.[188] While governor she supported bills to require parental consent for abortion on minors, and to ban partial birth abortion; both measures were defeated.[189] When asked by ABC's Charles Gibson whether she felt Roe v. Wade should be overturned, she answered, "I think it should and I think that states should be able to decide that issue... I am pro-life." Pressing further, Gibson asked, "John McCain would allow abortion in cases of rape and incest. Do you believe in it only in the case where the life of the mother is in danger?" and Palin responded, "That is my personal opinion." [190] She is also a member of Feminists for Life.[185] She supports sex education in public schools that encourages abstinence but also discusses birth control.[185][191]
