$40 - transport
$100 - food (when I work at night I buy my own dinner, etc)
$50 - other stuff

and then there are occasional things like billz, uni books, ZOMG I NEED CLOTHES FOR SUMMER ALL MY CURRENT ONES ARE TOO BIG (I keep losing weight =/) etc which pushes it up a bit more

Edit: In year 12 (and before) if I used $10 a month it would be an expensive month

For me, it's about:
$10 - 20 dollars for public transport (give or take, depending on whether I am going to my bf's house a lot that week or whether or not it's a school week)
$20 for food I buy independently of parents
$25 for going out places, like the movies

and now +$19.95 for everytime I whip past academic and general and buy another literature study guide, or practice exam booklet. Or when I go past office works and grab some new notebooks or pretty pencils. (I've learnt to appreciate the aesthetic beauty of school supplies)
