Yes, how does one fix this so these disturbing images no longer show up?

Click preferences, then select either 1 of these (your choice :))

Use strict filtering (Filter both explicit text and explicit images)
Use moderate filtering (Filter explicit images only - default behavior)


That will get rid of your problem , hopefully :)
