god guys, how can you still not comprehend this???
the Clearly ins that you read are for 2008. this means that if monash law offered 300 places, and 1000 people aplied, to be accepted into the course, you need to be in the top 300.
In 2008 (FOR EXAMPLE, the clearly-In was 85.00) that means, that of all the people that applied in 2008, to be in the top 300 you needed a score of 85.00 or more.
thus, the clearly in is 85.00, as those who got 85+, were in the top 300 that applied.
YOU WILL NOT KNOW THE CLEARLY IN UNTIL AFTER THE 2009 OFFERS.
If for some reason half of victoria this year is really interested in doing Psychology at VIC UNI, then no doubt the enter will be High 90's, because of the large amount of people applying, and chances are, that many of them have very high ENTERS.
This means, 2008 clearly in for Psych @ VU: 59.00
2009 Clearly in for Psych @ VU: 97.55
you wont know what the clearly in is, until after the offers are out. So you won't know fore sure if your guaranteed a place. You can make an educated guess, and look at past years Clearly-Ins for a guide.
EXAMPLE:
The course I'm applying for, has had clearly-in scores of:
2006: 74.95
2007: 76.45
2008: 75.00
i am taking a guess that theres not going to be a random increase in demand for the course, and am expecting the clearly-in to be roughly the same as the past 3 years.
So original poster, you got 86.something, the 2008 clearly in was 85.. have you checked the 2007/2006 scores required??
You're gunna have to wait for the offers to come out, cause 2009 VCE may be a cohort that has many interested in Engineering, and the ENTER could be boosted up to 89.00
