My sweeping statement is with some exceptions but was meant to be directed at the present situation or similar situations.

I don't know what "LMAO" means, but if your opinion relates to the present situation then that is different. I don't know why you keep referring to the hotel thing? I agree with you point. Maybe answer some of mine?

Because everyone is baffled by the extreme and irrelevant position you have taken in this thread
It's extreme to say businesses’ should face at least some regulation?
My point is not relevant to the original post. However, earlier Costargh said that no regulation should be placed on the profit making capacity of business.
Costargh seems to be now resorting to personal attacks rather then

Interesting, do you conduct checks on everyone that has a different opinion to you?

Conduct checks on low-post users. It shouldn't bother you.

Back on topic:

So a question to people for people who support this idea (even for people with medical conditions causing obesity). Which types of service business are included or excluded from having to be financially disadvantaged as a result of obese consumers using their services in the form of having to provide a more expensive service at a cheaper price?

Withoutaface seems to be the best poster imo.

This post made me lol.

If the airplane is full, do you really want to be sitting next to a fat person trying to fit into one seat?

They overflow into the seat next to them anyway, might as well let them have it. Regular passengers have a right to a full seat to themselves, rather than themselves and half a fat ass.

If a company wants to charge more for women then men or more for a specific racial group, I think the legal system should step in and put a stop to it. I don’t care how it affects profit. Freedom can be given to businesses whilst still ensuring that their practices adequately protect all those in society.

If a female prostitute chooses only to serve white men and not black men, will you say that the State is right and just to force her to serve black men against her will? Or if a female prostitute explicitly chooses not to serve fat people, will you say that the State is right and just in forcing her to serve fat people too? Doing so is in essence forcing one person to serve another - slavery.

Should a supermarket be able to charge higher prices to Individuals not born in Australia?
I should hope your answer is no.

If you own a business, should you be able to decide how you price your own products?

Ok Costargh, I see that you prefer to find flaws in a passing example rather then adress the actual issue behind it. Do this mean you support full and unchallenged freedoms for buisness.

What are you talking about? The example shows the consequences of the principle.

My point is not relevant to the original post.
That comes pretty close to the definition of an off-topic post.Secondly, If my point was irrelevant to the OP, I would think twice before making such a point in this thread.

Costargh said that no regulation should be placed on the profit making capacity of business.
Its customary when accusing someone of saying something, particularly on a forum, to actually quote them.
