Yeah, as the title suggests, Roxxii needs a job, and if having great difficulty trying to find one
I saw Mel's thread, and thought hmmm, she successfully got a job, maybe i will too if i make a thread

Roxxii's work history:
- Since about 2002(yes, i was under the legal age to work:P) until 2007 I've been working for my parents at various fish and chip shops and a milk bar.
- In 2006 I wanted to find my own job, and so i worked at KFC but then quitted after about 2 weeks
- Then in 2007 I got a job at safeway, but then my parents wouldn't let me work there because they forced me to work for the family business(i didn't get paid )
- After school finished this year, i applied for a few jobs, unaware of the meaning of OTE. I thought all the sales and promotions jobs which could earn about $45,000 OTE looked awesome, so i applied for many of them.
- I got a job with Smart-Simply Energy. The salary advertised was $50,000-$90,000 LOL, and it stated that you earn an average of $1000 per week.
- I fell for it, did a few days of unpaid training, when they gradually exposed the paying scheme, which no longer sounded so appealing, then worked a couple of days on this commission based job.
- I realised that working for 8-9 hours, plus 2 hours of travelling, and getting paid $50 per day was not worth it, so i quit.
- I checked my bank balance and realised that i only got paid $38.50 when i should have gotten paid about at least $100
- A few days later i applied for a few more mobile phone jobs advertised on seek, no replies yet.
So what should i do now? Continue applying? I really don't know what to apply for now.
I'm so over takeaway shops and i really dont want to work at one again.
I would prefer to work in the city because its more convenient for me to travel to.
Anyone have any ideas about where i can apply?
And also, i applied for a few jobs on friday, and they only contact people who are shortlisted.
Is there a chance that they haven't gone through my application yet or put it in a 'maybe' pile, or have they most likely seen it and put it in the 'kthnxbai' pile?
