Off topic but I don't really like Cotton On... Their clothes aren't exactly good quality... Hmm I'd love to work for Cooper St or Cue, but then again... retail isn't my area of expertise, although I do love fashion... who knows, maybe someday I will work there... or possibly at Myer :D Now that would be a place I'd want to work in... possibly move into their accounting department once I graduate.. (wait do they have one? You'd think they would due to how large the company is)

Never bought anything from Cotton On.

It jst all reminds me of the stuff tweens wear.

Update: Roxxii got 2 rejection emails this morning :(

But then around 2pm, when I was in the city with Dusty I got a phone call from Telstra call centre telling me that i have a interview tomorrow :P

I'm scared :( LoL.

I REALLY REALLY hope its not another commission based sales job :(

Good luck ^_^
Lol, I hope you get it!

At least one of the people in the heading will get a job. :( (Now you know how it feels to get rejected, Amy. :( I hated it. :'()

GOOD LUCK!!!! ^_^

Yeah, i definitely cannot imagine a one to one for 1.5 hours :P
Hopefully it won't be too hard.
I'm just still not very sure if I really want this job or not.... :(
My previous job has really scared me...I worked 2 full days for more than 8 hours per day...and got paid $38.50  :'(

Kekee thanks :)

I'll post after my interview tomorrow.

It's meant to be for like 1.5 hours~!!!
It seems so long...would it be like a group one where we'll have to do activities?
I've never really done those before :(
I've heard about interviews at another call centre, where you have to do activities where you introduce yourself to each other in a group, etc.

Possibly applies to Telstra? Would explain the length...

I think instances like this happen in almost every group interview. :P

EDIT: What type of work are you looking for then, Amy? Retail? :P

Lol, let out your hatred for them, Odette! I feel like burning the clothes I brought from them... Because I won't get my money back. :(

Well... Eventually I decided I couldn't be bothered... Sorry guys. :( I just can't keep away from VN or from watching movies. I guess I just don't deserve a job the way I'm going. :P

Oh oh, have you tried applying for a job with mystery shoppers?
It's quite fun actually, I've been sent out to a few shops here and there.
lol I used to mystery shop a bit, it's pretty cool!
I'm going to hijack the thread, if I may...

Could someone go into more detail about being a mystery shopper? What sort of hours do you work/pay/do you choose where you "shop"/etc. Also, is it more of "side-job"?

I really wish i could work for an accounting firm or finance company, but they don't take on anyway with no experience :(

So yeah, probably retail. Preferably selling mobile phones :D kekee

Lol, let me shed some light on this...
What you do is register as a member on their site, they send you assignments which you either accept or ignore, and then you're sent to a place to review their service; which could also mean you buy something from them, and you fill in a report, and then you're paid accordingly. It's more of a side-job.

Right now, I will take literally ANYTHING. I just need money so desperately... I'm using my mother's credit card and she expects me to pay her back for the $2000 I've spent over the months... I have nothing left in my bank account... Literally!

About how often would you be given the opportunity to do one of these assignments?
And also, will they send you assignments for like all suburbs? Or will they only give you places that are close to you?
I'm signing up now but i'm wondering if i should put my real postcode in, or should i just put 3000 :P lol
