Best deal shops?

I'm looking to upgrade some computer parts and was wondering where I could get the best deal from.
I don't really like buying stuff over the internet, despite the good chance of finding a great deal.

So for frequent upgraders, where do you get the best deal from?

From what I've seen, nows not the best time to go computer shopping. Part prices have all been jacked up due to the economy by the looks of it <_<

Yeah, it's not a good time to buy technology now. Importing items from overseas is much more expensive then it was before.

MSY

Isn't the service meant to be dodgy there though, i.e. being served by people who can barely speak english.
Some snippets of what goes on in IRC:

<chath> ill say " i wont let you go until u kiss me bitch"

Quote
<@enwiabe> i have the BEST orgasms when i'm working through a math problem

<@mark_alec> my bikini line however, is most important

Are you scared yet?

depends on the product
I use http://staticice.com.au/
and then get my local store (CentreCom) to price match

Not really. When I went to MSY, there was a dude who spoke good English and was really friendly. I'm guessing he was only a worker there, not the actual owner etc.
