Hmm I consider myself as normally quite a safe and responsible person.
But sometimes I speed (120km) when I'm alone, along a particular isolated stretch of former highway (limit 100km) that I'm very familar with.

I've only done so once or twice but I think I mainly did it because I felt I "could". I liked the thrill it gave me I guess.
Several of my friends often speed, and their parents encourage them to when they know there's no speed cameras around. :S

And of course when there's road works, well the urge to speed......

what about when there is no sign of roadworks sans the signs, and there are 4 cars tailgating like bitches and the signs say 40 along a stretch of 90kph road. ANNOYING. TOUGH DECISION CHAPS.

Driving at speed isn't the fun bit.  The difference between 100km/h and 120km/h is negligible, what really gives you the thrills is hard acceleration.  Very very fun! A++++++++++++ would buy again.

I love it when coming off the highway I slow down to nothing then turn the corner onto the old highway. 0-100km =  :smitten:
Best bit I drive along that road nearly ever time I got somewhere.

Bahaha, do you know how fun this was? :D I swear, when I was 12, I used to run over everyone, and thought 'in real life, I'm gonna run over every person I see in the streets when I drive'... Thank god I have never drove in the City :S

LOL. I was playing GTA 4 yesterday.

On a more serious note, I almost killed myself on Tuesday. It was raining and the tyres slid in the wet as I took a sharp corner. There was an oncoming car, which I missed by a nose hair (had I been there a second earlier, I probably won't be here right now).

There's a lesson for you kids, check your tyre pressure often. Or something.

lol and dad and i have been bitching about the tyre shit for a long time...

Yeah I remembered when I drove solo for the first time. I was taking one of those turns at those traffic lights with 2 arrows on them. What you are supposed to do, if there are no arrows, is to move ahead, see if the traffic in the incoming lane is clear and then turn. I just turned straight though, ignoring the approaching traffic (yeah a lot of horns too). The strange thing was that I thought straight afterward that I had done nothing wrong.

Same, same.
I got a new car recently (2nd-hand new, I mean), and I'm smitten with the acceleration XD
