What simple things make you happy?

Well, for me, whether it is the smile on a little child's face when they acknowledge your presence, or the simple 'hello' I used to get every morning at school from the teachers, they make a big difference in my life, and furthermore, make me very HAPPY!

I guess this is why they call me 'happy' on VN :)

What simple things make YOU happy? :)

I love children's smiles...

Also knowing I have helped someone else, brings me the greatest happiness... hence why I like helping people on VN and other people who I come across.

Oh and finally bringing a smile on someone else's face brings me happiness. :)

Terrible thing to say but sometimes seeing someone worse off than me makes me (disgustingly) happy (when I'm having a bad day).

Hehe, I also like it when someone helps out someone else and the person being helped just gives a gesture in body language. I swear, moments like that are enough to bring a tear to my eye knowing that the person is actually being helped out. :D

EDIT: @ username: That would make me feel worse. :S

Hey, just being honest. I'm sure we've all used someone's misery as a 'Hey life isn't so bad' lifeline before. :)

But then again, karma doesn't determine who you are as a person... Only you know who determines yourself. :) People can applaud you or smite you all they like, but ultimately, it shouldn't matter too much as you should be happy with yourself no matter the situation... Unless karma had consequences. :D
