Commercials you love and hate?

Okay, I've seriously lost it with boredom... I just have to make constant, interrogated threads to keep me occupied for the next day...

Well, right now, I can't stand those Foxtel adds which ask you to subscribe to shit. For example, the one that says 'SMS [insert mobile novelty here] to [insert 1300 number]... Ahh, I want to rip my hair out when I see these commercials...

I also hate that coco pops commercial where that little boy complains to his mother... It's so annoying...

I guess I don't like any commercials as I would rather watch the show instead of the commercials...

So, what adds do you love and hate?

Don't watch that much current television, but I find the new "don't turn a night out into a nightmare" commercials really annoying. It's partly to do with the way they are shot.

My favourite recent commercial is the smoothie one.

"One a scale of one to me, I'd give it an eight."

I don't like the chicken salt(?) one.

I like the HBA ones with the kids and the crocodiles biting their butts off.

I hate the Bankwest ones with the toys/flowerpots talking.

Dekoyl's display picture reminds me of the car ad with the cat breaking into the warehouse and stealing the fish and then driving away.

OH BUT MY FAVOURITE ONE IS THE MILK ONE AND THE COMEDIC GUY IS LIKE

On a more serious note I like the government ads about skin cancer and lung disease and stuff with the medical pics/footage, as well as the 'work place safety' ones AND the new teenager ones with the kids drinking.

THE CAT ONE IS THE ONE IM TALKING ABOUT IN MY ABOVE POST! It's terribly cute, but when the cat is in the car, it turns on an ipod and I (personally) feel that at that moment, the ad itself for the car has no effect - I'm more influenced by the ipod.

The workplace safety ads suck balls. No one is actually that stupid that they would fall back with boiling water or put their hand in a bread slicer? And can a nail actually shoot out the back of a nail gun??

I think he was pointing it at himself to look at it or something.

You'd be surprised how many accidents happen from small things like not watching your step, or being afraid to ask for directions (especially when your boss comes across as intimidating). Granted these people were careless but mm.
