How to Stop the Ads on VN?

Hey all,
just wanting to know if its possible to stop the ads that appear on VN? as my Internet Security keeps notifying me that is potential spyware and i cant stop those alerts for some reason.
Im using I.E :)

Firefox + Adblock Plus with Easylist filters, is what I use.

...but it means no longer using IE. However, a search has brought me to ie7pro, a supposed ABP equivalent.

I would recommend not using IE. If you wish to keep using it then I am no help.

Ok thanks, im capped atm so i have to wait till next month before i can change over to firefox.
Strange this is that these warnings have only appeared as of this morning :S
Never happened before in all my time on VN?
