Code Geass Gaiden Bōkoku no Akito (translates to: Side Story: Akito of the ruined nation) Project Announced

The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Kiseki no Birthday event video release is announcing a new project called Code Geass Gaiden Bōkoku no Akito on Friday. The side story is set in the European warfront, where a unit is sent into a military operation with a 5% chance of survival.

Yeah Kimi ni Todoke was great, however I did find Sawako's personality a little strange. Just about to finish Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, going to watch Mononoke next

Positives:
+ Intricate storyline
+ Nippa!
+ Rika-chan
+ Great balance between violence/gore and storyline
+ The fact that you started by WTFing at everything, and then started to love the characters and want them to succeed
+ Did not spoon feed the audience (required extra reading/concentration to put the entire storyline together)

Negatives:
- HUGE backstory, however a lot was apparently missed in the anime
- Animation was a bit terrible sometimes
- Mixed feelings about the ending, was a little anti-climatic, however it makes sense as that last arc was meant to be the "best possible" ending
- A few *minor* plot holes, although they may have answers I'm still looking...

Overall rating: 9.5/10
Go watch it, it's honestly not that violent.

TBH, the only shows worth watching this season are House of Five Leaves and Tatami Galaxy - both masterpiece level.
