What's your favorite anime ?

I swear I'm remembering Psycho-Pass from ages ago - and yet all of a sudden there's a bunch of new stuff coming up for it. What's with that?

Haha well Season 1 came around 2012-2013 but then before they released Season 2 (which finished this week) they repackaged Season 1 and instead of 24 episodes, they combined two together to form a 12 episode series of Season 1 again so people could get ready for Season 2 LOL :')

But yeah I liked Season 1 but Season 2 was a bit iffy for me.. but definitely hyped for the movie since the trailer looks pretty cool (despite the dodgy spoken English here and there xD)

I didn't watch the repackaged version since I had already watched the original 24 episodes (which was really good) but if you can sit for 40-50 minutes (pretty much two episodes in one sitting) then I'd go for it otherwise stick to the original! Apparently they add some new scenes in the repackaged version but I would think they would be pretty minute because if they added too much then it would detract from the original (not to mention there would be a whole meltdown on MAL LOL jks ;O)

The *big* hint I saw was Korra blushing when Asami complimented her new (short) haircut. To me that seemed odd for "friends", but I wasn't convinced by something as small as that that they were supposed to be gay.

It's pretty funny, actually - because I did discover the series before it got popular, because one of my manga series I was reading stopped and I needed a new one. I then got too lazy to finish it (or get up to the training "arc". ), and didn't have time to watch anime at the time (compared to manga which take just a few minutes to read). I had been planning to watch it for ages, and probably would've when I found out season 2 was coming out.

I gotta say, though, as good as it is, I was on the wiki and noticed some differences in the final episode when compared to manga, and I feel the anime made some bad choices in the changes it made. Oh well, though~ Not like they did something plot-breaking like with all those books-to-movie movies...

You can question when they will go to the goddamned basement forever. hahahah

Oh really? I didn't know they changed it. Lucky I didn't read the manga or I would probably be raging to everyone like I did with GoT (Yara? Really? People aren't so stupid they get names mixed up (at least people that watch GoT)).
Yeah, I'm scared. And tbh I think they do twist around the plot. Levi isn't even in it ;__; some other weird character I've never heard of us

I still get chills from that time he just completely destroyed the female titan in seconds. And then when he flawlessly saves Eren, despite the fact that in the original plan he needed five of the ELITE'S ELITE to save him, which actually required amputation!!

Ahhhh, I'm going to be on this for a while, hahah. I still need to catch up with Fate/stay night at least, too. >.<; I shouldn't have started the new Gundam, hahah.

Nooope. Good ole' American television (ha). I doooo recommend it though. Even if you're too #hipster, it's still definitely worth a watch.
Do love the Japanese  Anime, manga, J-drama, language, history... but Korea somehow takes precedence most of the time (*cough*my profile picture _{and sig}*cough*).

Nah, I'd rather not watch it. Like, I might enjoy it, but it seems incredibly violent, and real-world violence can make me go funny... (and yet I survived Dokuro-chan, so clearly drawn blood is fine? xD)

Ahhh, reminds me of my younger days. :') Minus the Korea thing, hahah. Truth is, I basically gave up on Japan after year 12 Jap... Like, it's taken me the next 3 years to get back into anime or even try and speak the language again. (if I do continue to learn, I'll self-teach. I could not do formal teaching again. .__.)

Depends on which Gundam. Only one I've ever finished is 00 (nearly finished Seed, though), but it is superbly written, and I actually couldn't sleep because it was so good and I had to watch more. Like, mecha fighting happens, but it has a much bigger emphasis on the world and politics than it does on mecha fighting. I'm watching the new one now, and it's not as good, and seems more like a case of "MUST CRAM AS MUCH MECHA FIGHTS IN AS POSSIBLE". In fact, there were a few episodes of 00 that mecha don't even fight/are barely seen, so I definitely recommend even if you're not a mecha fan. (I'd say I'm not, but Zoids <3 )

Fair enough. I usually go in and out of things I like and do. I hope I won't get out of Japan though. It's kind of where I want to head career-wise and I don't want to lose interest when I get to uni. Which is what, 4-5 years away for me? If I'm done with Japanese next year, I'm actually scared about how I'll keep going. Up until now I've been self-teaching, so I'm thinking about continuing that with JLPT as the goal. Sigh.
Though I'll probably do 3/4 again, since I have plenty of time. No penalty, no reason not to.
