Do the bush fires contribute to the orange tinge of sunlight or is it just me? Since yesterday afternoon I've noticed everything directly lit by sunlight seems a bit orangy.
Yeh i think it does, i noticed it this morning and the air was really hazy

compensation for what? if its funded through taxpayer money, then no.

if people want to voluntarily donate funds, which seems to be happening, then that's their business and completely fine.

I'm referring to the $10 million dollars (of taxpayer money) that the Government is divvying up to the victims.

I can smell the pollution in the air. At first I thought something was wrong with my head; I didn't think the wind would push it this far.

There's a fire in Lysterfield. I can see the smoke from my office.

It really isn't that far...Kilmore couldn't be any more than 100km from Melbourne (maybe even less).

There's like a traffic jam near my place, it seems they are blocking people from going to Lysterfield. It's actually quite close to where I live.

Hmm...just checked my bearings again...it would appear that said smoke I saw was from a fire in Upwey.
