« on: January 09, 2009, 10:03:28 pm »
The 2009 uni offers are available online on The Age website on the 19th of January from 6.30pm. You don't have to go to newsagencies the night before!  :)

My friend sent me this earlier in the day as well. It says,
"Don't forget to pick up our special edition of the newspaper on January 20 which will contain all the University entrance results in full."

So will there be no special edition out on the 19th? Instead, it will just be online and then 20th for the paper (same day of official letters)?

That's what it looks like.

Nice find.

I don't get it, though. If VTAC have this, what's the point of the one the following day at 9am?

OH OOPS. I misread the initial post. I thought he was talking about newspapers being distributed to newsagencies. Sorry.

Some people have elected to not pass their name to the press due to privacy concerns. Thus, VTAC distributes all offers via MyInfo at 9AM.

And here are the offers:

It doesn't look like it. I think you can get it online on the 19th and in the paper on the 20th. There appears to be no special edition of the paper published on the 19th from what i can see.

Yep. If you give permission for VTAC to publish it, then it will appear.

It's in this format:
LASTNAME F 38181

Where the numbers correspond to your course offer.

Stalking others is possible, yes.
