maybe democracy Vs Theology
directly elected parliament, elections, referenda  and the law/legal system constantly adapting as opposed to what is written in the Koran and other Islamic holly books being the absolute and final word of law.

I highly suggest anyone not to take information about Islam from suenoga.

OP: Here's a discussion titled "Islam is incompatible with democracy" hosted by The Age.

I was just pointing out that he was Jewish, I think people might then reassess his opinions as they tend to be biased to Islam for obvious reasons.

Sorry, no racism here.

... Do you realise how racist and negatively biased you're being in your own right? The hypocrisy is hilarious.

I am not certainly not racist, nor do I hate Muslims .  However, it's is apparent that you clearly hold biases of your own considering that you assumed I hate Muslims simply because I'm Jewish. I also stand by what I said earlier.  I think democracy is totally incompatible with theology regardless of what religious  tradition the country is based on.

Hi all,

How is there conflict between Islamic law and legal codes based on the Westminster System?

Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks  :)

That question is way vague. Just what are legal code based on a the westminster system? The Westminster System refers to the operation of the legislature.

If you are referring to the Common Law then see the wikipedia article under "Comparisons with common law":
