Unit 3 SACs

Hello,
What kind of SACs can I expect for unit 3 Chemistry?

I want to revise the stuff in Unit 1/2, for 3/4 but not entirely sure which one to go about first?

Which SAC would be first?

Thanks!  :)

I think they should be all pracs? Mine were..

Anyway they are pretty easy..

First ones should be different ways of titration (direct/back) and calculations..

And I do recall theres production of aspirin...

How many SACs do we have to do in Unit 3? And is it true that you have to hand in a big report/presentation on something as one of your SACs?

And it usually depends on your teachers to write up the SACs. There is a guideline by VCAA that the teachers have to follow...

Probably biology. Bio is #1 for excursions :P

I remember our first prac being a precipitation reaction (so on gravimetric analysis). Not sure if it was counted as a sac (our chem teacher never told us if things were sacs because 1. he wanted us to try our hardest at everything we did and 2. he liked messing with our minds and making us stress out  :buck2:)

each school does it differently. For the year, here are the choices:

There will be one Extended Practical Investigation consisting of a summary report from 3 related pracs. The summary report is different to actual prac reports. (worth 50% of SACs)

One full practical report, one for each unit (25%)

And then, one of Written/Oral/Visual presentation and second hand data analysis. (25%)

unit 4 is exactly the same.
