Well, according to my sister, the lecture theatre was 90% full, so yeah, there were heaps of students there.

Who's the lecturer?

I didn't go to it, and now i wished i did.

What topics did you cover?

Are the notes useful?

His name was Chris Ireson from Melb High. We covered all of complex number and tomorrow we'll do vectors and trig. It was a fun session. But the physics lecturer was the best, he made it fun with all his examples.
This year TSFX for physics has fixations about dead animals in there question. One part was a  dead hippopotamus was projected vertically upwards at an initial velocity of 50m/s from the top of a 120m building. Another involved a dead horse, dead water buffalo. Made it so interesting and fun.

Worthwhile! The notes go through it clearly and are very useful.

I went for physics and spesh today, it was actually more fun than I thought it would be and after a rather laidback summer, I was surprised how quickly I was able to "switch on". Only one other person from my school went to spesh and she hasn't really looked over the course, so she said she actually struggled with most of the stuff covered today, I thought it was an odd choice to start off with complex numbers. Could anybody tell me if there are any spots left in the chem and methods repeats?

complex numbers is usually the area which does not require prior knowledge to understand, which is why they started of with this topic. btw i might be going to the repeat. I'm already going to the Access Education english, methods and chemistry for free due to the SALT program which is not to bad.

Yeah, I get how it requires no prior knowledge, I suppose I found it weird because neither of my textbooks featured it so early.

There was all that dead animal stuff, including dead sheep, in the 10 week course for unit 2 physics.
They were the worst notes I've received from TSFX.
Maybe it's a different person or he just didn't put in much thought for unit 2 physics but really, the notes were very, very poor. That's why I'm not doing TSFX (not the 10 week thing anyway).

LOL Ireson is the biggest joke ever. He just hates everyone and everything. We chill near his office and continually are yelled at hahahahaha
