Hi Costa,

Any additional majors you complete will be made up of eight units, so if you are not planning on applying for credit for previous study, you will easily be able to complete a third major in Economics. Our course advisors will be able to help you select the right units on enrolment day.

You are permitted to have up to two units double-count (count towards multiple majors) in each major. This means that you can have two units from your Accounting major and one unit (ECF1100) from the common core count towards your Economics major. The remaining five Economics units will need to be chosen as your electives.

We certainly encourage students to make the most of their electives in ways like this, and as I mentioned above, our course advisors are able to help you to select the correct units for this on enrolment day.

Kind regards,

XXXXX  XXXXXX

I've worked it out that using his advice above I will be able to drop one third year economics subject and pick up a 2nd marketing elective and still have three majors whilst fulfilling all units on my way towards CA. YAY

Im lazy to check, are the units you plan on counting towards more than one major first year units? That's how it works in science anyway

No. My degree is Accounting/Management (double degree) so I have a major in each PLUS a major in economics if I choose the right subjects.

No. From the e-mail the guy sent me this is the rule

i cant make it on the 29th - monash told me i could go in on the 30th, do you think the business and economics course advisers will be there then? is there any significant disadvantage in enrolling a day later than the rest of the cohort?

thanks
