yeah lygon st is actually really nice for that sort of thing
you can get ice cream and look really cultured by taking her to a french movie or something

Don't foreign movies always have naked people and/or sex?

Do you mean the SBS movies played every friday night??

How can you not have SBS? It's free.

Anyway, I watch SBS. Thursday nights used to be awesome (Samurai Champloo, Ghost in the Shell, followed by some random movie). They're going to air Mad Men soon too, so they're still cool in my eyes (even though they've got ads). I think you're thinking of Channel 31 (the fish channel).

Fish channel? I think I had that once.
I don't have a *working* TV in my room at the moment, and SBS isn't programmed into the other TVs so no SBS.

Channel 31 (i.e. community television) is really cool at times.

They aired Grave of the Fireflies, which doesn't fall under  'UEFA Champions League coverage', so I'd have to disagree.

AppleThief, what shows are you talking about? I know they have that rubbish video game show, but that's about it.

edit: Our tv has one of those digital tuner thingies, so there's like 5 'different' SBSs.

I used to watch Theatre Games Live, which is like Whose Line is it Anyway. I also sometimes watch that rubbish video game show if I happen to come across it. Otherwise, I usually flick to 31 in the ads of other things and have a taste of whatever is on, such as dodgy cooking shows with unappetising food.
