If it has IE in it, avoid like the plague.

Well, if you must use IE, then it is definitely a safer browser than IE6 and 7. I've heard its performance was alright, but not a stellar improvement over IE7. However, I've never used it so I can't be sure.

IE is the most insecure, slowest and memory hogging piece of shitware I've seen. If you use IE primarily, you might as well swim with the sharks.

+1 I always used to be a IE fan, never ever would consider firefox etc. IE was the way to go, it was standard on every PC, etc etc. Then for some reason i d/l Firefox, and the difference in speed is PHOW. When i click a new tab in IE it takes no joke around 10-15 seconds to load etc, if a tab is loading and i click X on IE it goes soooooo slow. Firefox does it in literally 1 second if i press a new tab.
