Looking for a previously posted extract

I remember some time ago someone posted an extract from a book they were reading, which involved incredibly verbose, long-winded sentences. I think it was from a humanities subject. If anybody remembers which post it was I would appreciate it, because I hope to use it for my english language homework if the OP is ok with it.
