i downloaded it ages ago, but alot of the drivers havent come out for windows 7 yet so wait a little

I was playing around the Beta - it's a solid OS. The only problem as FA mentioned is lack of driver support.

It's pretty much Vista, debugged. Which is a good thing.

This is RC though.

I think those driver problems have been fixed.

From personal experience, a lot faster than vista could possibly be even if it tried.

Driver issues won't necessarily be fixed until the RTM release (release to manufacturer - pretty much the final build bar any serious issues). Of course, vendors are writing beta drivers to support their hardware based on the RC/Beta versions.

I hope the change from vista to 7 will be worth it (it looks fucking sick, hopefully it will be good as 10.6 lol)

Hey Excal, Is 7 more stable than Vista? I'm just afraid that using an RC for primary comp (lappy) will fuck it up. lol
