Wolfram|Alpha - knowledge search engine

I was a bit skeptical when I first heard of this, but I must admit after playing around with it that it's quite awesome.

Try plugging in some company names and you'll get securities information and forecasts (presumably with some form of mathematical model). Or even a mathematical function and it will graph it out nicely for you, put out forms of the equation and show you the working.

(not surprised, these guys are the guys behind Mathematica)

I was typing in all sorts of equations with text yesterday, and they all worked! Very clever imo.

I was attempting to get the engine to work out double integrals yesterday but it either doesn't know how to or I typed it wrong (most probably). :(

Oh and yes, it does look pretty awesome. I haven't done much else with it except maths, though.

This is f**king sick. Wow, it could be a great addition to any statistical arbitrageur's toolkit. (gives instant P/E ratios, and correlations)
Wolfram has done it again, Wow. :D

Ah yes, my physics teacher was telling us about that just over 2 hours ago.  I was going to spread the word on VN, but it seems like someone beat me to it, lol.  :D
