Even though Round 1 is nearly over, tipping should still be open if anyone else wants to join. We have 10 people at the moment which is more than last year. Get involved!

Such a shame that they didn't show North v Adelaide on free to air (I understand why though). Syd vs Pies was a terrible game. The North v Adel one was very fast, intense, more of a battle back and forth. Was like a finals game all over again, in Round 1!

Thought the Dons were bad, then saw how the Pies were going hahahahaha.
:(

Top it off with Dane Swan's injury. He is gone I reckon he will have no interest in playing if we play like that.

I reckon he's done too.

In regards to the Hawks v Cats game today, I reckon the Hawks will win but I want to see the Cats win. Its about time another team won the premiership. Every grand final is just so boring now.

Well what a week that was. 5/9 tips - over half at least, not bad.

Tips for next week (might change but this is what i've got at the moment):
Richmond by 24
Adelaide
Melbourne
North Melb
Bulldogs
Freo
Geelong
WCE (on the err side of this one, not at Domain in Perth so can't really judge yet. Will probably wait for teams and decide)
Swans

Tipping against my beloved Collingwood for the first time ever. It would be funny if they beat Richmond who did not really play that well against Carlton. I think our situation is worse though with Swan out, no team chemistry and very poor coaching. First time ever I have tipped against, as a big supporter I would always have some sort of belief that they could beat any team and hence I would always tip for. But I've seemed to lost that now, dark days for us.

Bit late to the party:

But in all seriousness, it's only Round 1 so maybe wait till Round 7-ish before everything settles down a bit.

Though I'm more interested in the debutants that have come through Round 1 since majority of them have been pretty good (Rising Star looks to be an interesting one this year)!

Jed Anderson made his debut for North Melbourne on saturday night and ended up getting injured so bad that he's out for 8-10 weeks now. 10/10 pick up.

There is nothing more entertaining than Hawks and Collingwood both losing in the same week.

Being a Dons fan, this was definitely the highlight of Round 1 for me. Keep those big losses coming!

Already have the lead by two tips, Great effort this week by the doggies!

Some really close calls for Round 2: Adelaide vs Port Adelaide, Brisbane vs North Melbourne (let's not underestimate Brisbane, especially at home) and Hawthorn vs West Coast are only a few of the tough decisions us tippers need to make.
