Amazing win by the pies last night. Thought we were gone in that last 5 mins! What a win.

Sad days for last year's ladder #1. It would be a shame if they keep losing, given they signed Ross Lyon for 5 years.

RIP my round 2 tips. Last time I played footy I broke two bones in my arm, but this feels worse in every way.

I'll see y'all next season! :'(

Naw, don't be like that!

On another note (directed to all): Any matches you think may be a close call (or one that you can't decide who will win)?

For me, i've got two games that I think may be very close:

Port v Essendon (unexpected win, tipping Essendon to win by a slight margin)
Hawks v Bulldogs (really unsure here, both in good form)

I only scored 3/9 for my round 2 tips so definitely need to improve this week. Here are my tips for the tough games:

My team, the Western Bulldogs will be challenged by the reigning premiers in Hawthorn, and I think they will rise to the occasion and come out victorious. This will be their first test of the season and if they dominate the match, they will certainly be premiership favourites.

Richmond vs Adelaide could truly go either way, with the Crow's home win reaffirming their presence in the mix of contenders. My tip is Richmond, purely because it is their home game and they do not want to lose again after last round's horror against Collingwood.

The Sydney Swans vs GWS Giants will be the third and final tough match this weekend. If the Giants attack the way they did against Geelong, then Sydney may experience some trouble. However, I will still be tipping the Swans as their midfield combined with Buddy in the forward line will be too strong for (traitor) Ryan Griffen and his team.

Good Luck with your tips, if anyone disagrees with my predictions let me know! Carn the Dogs!

I think if you don't submit tips they get randomly allocated for you anyway. You can't escape, ever!

Just wanted to let everyone know that i've booted a few people from the tipping due to inactivity - doesn't really make it competitive if we have idle people not tipping. There are currently 9 tipsters now (after I removed 3).

If you still want to join, please feel free to in your own time. The longer you leave it, the less opportunity you have to start tipping and getting a number up on our ladder (instructions are in one of my earlier posts on this thread).

Richmond have proven again what a dud team they are - they won't make finals this year because of the competitive nature surrounding the competition at the moment. I'm looking forward to the North vs Freo game tomorrow afternoon. Will be interesting.

Edit: Swans just lost their first. Meaning if North win, we'll be the only team that are 4-0 at the end of the round. Let's goooo!
