hey i totally understand how you feel about the whole fat thing...
last year my main priority was to get a really high beep test.. and this year i guess it just has to become to get a high enter. its been really hard to cope with not maintaining that level of fitness, i can slowly see my muscle turning to.. well not muscle! but i think that when you are really physically fit your mind also becomes 'fitter' and you feel amazing. people who haven't been into exercise don't get it.
Can you work out in the mornings? (i run but as a guy you probs do weights soo maybe not) then when you get home after school you feel less like a fat obese loser just doing HW cause your exercise is done? Or right after school then come home and start work?

Has anyone considered doing exercise not involving the gym? Gym is so overated imo.

When I used to work out (before I got incredibly depressed and lost all motivation to care about my appearance) my routine consisted of aerobic work (through my afternoon runs), situps, pushups and dumbells all in my home.

Gym to me is one of the greatest scams invented for people who think they are becoming more healthy. The majority of teenage guys consider being healthy to being tank, but thats not always the case. I see massive guys who cant run 1km without losing breath cause they're chain smokers or they simply don't haven't done enough endurance training.

I'd say the majority of teenage guys only use gym for weights.

This is all just my opinion though.

"This may sound crazy but i train before school, that way i have the entire evening to do hw and study (if i dont have coaching or something in the evening)
Although going to a gym in the morning would be hard, is there a gym at your school? maybe you could use your lunch-times to get your exercise done."

well for you, you could say sport is as important for your future as vce ;)

hi pip, totally know what u mean about getting fat LOL. Im onli 74kg so im pretty slim, however, even when i have something really fatning, like fish and chips ( my parents own a fish and chip shop) that night ill go to the gym and make sure I BURN OFF THEM CALORIES. im so scared. I alwyas thought this shit effects girls. fuck, no it doesnt lmao.
And like u said, people who dont exercise just odnt get it.

costargh, im going to disagree with u that gyms are the biggest scams. People who genuinelly (sp?) want to be healthy, will use the gym as an outlet for for exericse. People who are half committed are the only one's that complain.
I do however, agree with u that most teen guys who go gym just go to get tank. They dont know the first thing about weights. Oh, fuck bro i lift 80kg - good for u cunt. Lets see how long u can maintain them muscles.
And yeah, they cant run for shit. Im one fittest people i know + im a full time smoker. been smoking since yr8.
I didnt get fit in 6 months or a year. took me many years to get to where i am now, and im proud of that.
And this is comming from a guy who hates sport. I hate all fucking forms of sport, fotty. soccer, cricket, basket ball ect.
I onli care in sport when Greece is involved (im greek LOL ) other than that i couldnt give 2 fucks.
