First week is alright. Made a group of friends. Overwhelmed with work right now and I can't shake the feeling first year is going to be worse than vce for me. :-\

it's not too late to change subjects yet (I think) - go to the arts office in the menzies building and ask about it

And if your unsure which building is the Menzies building look for the ugliest structure known to man which can be seen almost anywhere in Monash Clayton.

LOADED WITH ASSIGNMENTS and other crap.

Other than things that require procrastination, uni is great.

Is it just me, or does everyone absolutely love all there lecturers and tutors?

I seriously must be really lucky because I hear everyone whinging about bad lecturers and tutors but like heres my rundown.

Management:
Lecturer: Rolf Burgman or something, really engaging speaker, heaps of experience in corporate world and also teaching at Monash , has written our textbook we are using and just generally keeps me interested.

Tutor: PhD student. Shes from the Navy and has a masters in Management. Shes probably in her 50's and seems really enthusiastic about educating us. Is really keen to help us succeed.

Accounting:
Lecturer: Dont know her name but shes really clear in her expression and generally seems good.

Tutor:
Really good from what I can tell.

Commercial Law:
Lecturer: Entertaining and engaging and obviously has a great understanding of the content.

Tutor:
Probably the worst of my staff who are teaching me but still seems quite good although we haven't done much yet.

Marketing:
Lecturer: Peter Wagstaff, affectionately "Wags"  :smitten: . Bloody very respectable man. Knows his shit and is really dedicated to making lectures interactive and fun!

Tutor: haha this guy is funny and also seems really good at his field.

I know you might say "BUT HOW DO U KNOW THEY'RE GOOD!!! YOU'VE ONLY HAD THEM ONCE EACH."
Well Im speaking on first impressions here and usually I'm good at judging people. :P

My German lecturerer, although a very very nice man, seemed to ramble on about nothing for two hours...

I feel really crap about uni right now, I've already allowed myself to fall behind :(
