Well my 2nd SAC (Enzymes) is coming up this Wednesday.

If you've already done it maybe share what your experiment was all about.

I want to get a good idea before i go in and do mine  :D

I did mine today, in a nutshell, we were trying to see the effect pH had on the enzyme catalase (which breaks down hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen gas). As controls, we placed hydrogen peroxide in 5 test tubes and placed various buffer solutions in, pH 1,4,7,9 and 14. As experimentals, we placed liver cubes (yum...>.<) into 5 test tubes, placed  the various pH solutions in (actually we placed the solutions before we put in the liver :P), put the stoppers on the test tubes for 3 minutes, and then we placed hydrogen peroxide in to see how it would react. I didn't like how my class did it as we weren't very accurate with our measurements of our pH solutions and hydrogen peroxide, the teacher said to put in "2cm" of each :| So the results came out flawed... sigh :P

What are you doing for your SAC?

Haven't received it yet but i have a hunch its based on our excursion to GTAC.

We looked at the effect of PH & Temperature on ezymes.

Half the class did PH, Half did temperature.

Don't really remember much past that because the excursion was 2 weeks ago ish now.

Oh turns out it was on the work we did at GTAC mostly with just a couple questions based on it.

Yeah, i went on a different day from the majority of my class and my teacher.

So, they pretty much told us all the answer @ GTAC (well worked them into the presentations, now i know why they were mentioning random things about diet drugs and such)
