Thanks :)

I still don't know where to go. I was pretty set on Monash to do Commerce/Arts because i'd like to persue studies which is at least 50% Arts, but family friends reckon Commerce at Melbourne is better. I'm not against that, but I ideally wanted to study equal contact hours of both, and even though the new model offers the bredth subjects my interest still lies primarily in Arts. They like Melbourne because it is more prestigious and you can complete BA of Commerce + a masters degree all within 5 years.

I have the score to get into both the courses - 97.30. I'm just liking Comm/Arts more because I get 2 degrees done in 4 years, get to study Arts and Monash Clayton is but 15 mins by bus from my place :P I'm not sure about Masters at Clayton, haven't really read into it, maybe I should do that soon.

haha dude, you sound EXACTLY like me! : O

i put comm/arts down as my first preference (didnt get the enter for comm at melbs). Hope iv made the right decision, cos Im also not the strongest maths student! Oh and I want to major in the same subjects haha,

I guess Ill probs be seeing u at monash then if u put that down : P
what arts courses do u want to do?

I was surprised to the max at my maths scores! A 30 in methods with D's in SACs? I was pretty damn happy! XD... It wasn't actually too bad, I was just dreading it in class all the time, and surprised myself quite a bit with the results!

Why do you bring everything back to yourself? This thread is not about you. We don't care if you were surprised, you have mentioned this far too many times now. please do everyone a favour and keep it to yourself :)

I ended up putting down Melbourne Commerce. It was only because about 90% of the people around me advised me that Melbourne is better in a sense that it is more prestigious, that you could graduate in 3 years, etc. So I guess that changed my mind a little and I put Melb down, which should be ok because I do like the idea of a Marketing/Management double major, which shouldn't be too maths heavy :) And I can still balance it out with arts subjects in the breadth! I would chose linguistics and sociology and maybe international studies if they offer it.

Best of luck with Arts/Comm though! It's an awesome course, and it's still second on my list so if I don't get into Melb, I'll be seeing you there :P Haha go the unmathsy Commerce students!
