I'd think so - going by the detailed post and all. WonderBunny has either done VCE Latin or is doing it currently.

How was the unseen translation for you?.. my Latin teacher showed us the copy of the unseen. He thought it wasn't too bad - he thought it was mostly easy, though he said were a few tricky sentences. :P

I'm only hoping for anything over 30! Actually i would be happy with 25+. I'm a good Latin student but the competition is fierce.

I can already name 2 mistakes I made on the unseen. I did manage to avoid the "slaughtering many virgins" trap the examiner laid though! Seriously, "virgisque multum cecidit," despite the fact that multum and virgis don't go together and virgis comes from virga, virgae not virgo, virginis. The rest was fairly straightforward. It was a passage from Aulus Gellius' Attic Nights.

Without a doubt Latin is the hardest subject I've ever done (specifically unit 2 vce, before that it's been pretty cruisy). Maybe I just don't excel at languages in general (I have done Italian and French before) but even so, I reckon the mark up for Latin is reasonable, especially given the competition of less than 200 students doing it each year.

virgisque multum cecidit
multum working as an adverb there?

were you in my philo class this year? have you still got that dictionary?
if that makes no sense, ignore it :D
