Douchy has lectured for Access Education before, I'm sure you'll have access to Douchy's effective teaching style under one company or another :)

What did they say the reason for the fundraiser was?
My friend said that they seemed to be taking a lot of pics/testimonials etc, which would imply they are going to continue for U4.

Source? I wouldn't believe a word out of their mouths now :P

Um I don't think they had that much profit to donate though. Remember that they said this semester's lectures were just to get the name out there and they weren't focussed on profits. From their own video: "How are we going to offer you all of this for just $47? ... The answer is two-fold... Because we're a relatively new provider, our goal is simple: to get as many people to see the incredible value we're providing... Keep in mind, later on, we'll have to increase them [the prices] significantly to be competitive."

It's pretty obvious that they weren't expecting to make any profit really anyway, so this is quite a hollow gesture. Call me cynical, but I'd say it was masterminded with this effect intended. "Oh my god how wonderful and charitable!" Seems like just a PR exercise to repair the beating taken to their image.

This is what I meant by saying "good move". I do hope that these lecturers move to a more ethical provider though.

Hmm yeah i just read the sheet they handed at the end of the lecture.
'p2g is a one off fundraiser for charity purposes. that means all profits will go to rarara... because of this, there will not be a unit 4 lecture series unfortunately.'

I am certain that they will be running Unit 4 lectures. I was asked to help out with them.

I reckon we're overplaying the importance of AN busting them as far what it does to their business. Not that many people would find out for a start, and also, many people appear to be unfazed about giving their money to an amoral company (and continuously buy their spiel).

They will be doing something for Unit 4. Their "Genius Classes" aren't just for show (...I think). It'd be ridiculous if they packed up and left just like that.
