Kinda hard to tell without knowing the context of this convo, nor the people involved. Sarcasm has never been something that communicates well over the internet, hence the need for this.

What
a
lovely
poem
you have
there.

I'm going to guess that's copy + pasted, but I always read things like that really disjointedly.

Anyway, I wouldn't call that sarcasm. Sarcasm would've been more like, 'no way, where on Earth did you get that idea from?' They were probably just slightly annoyed/frustrated/impatient.

Ok so now that I've read the new info, asdfjsadfsdf wtf. That isn't sarcasm (sarcasm would've been something like, 'because all asians have ~ginormous eyes har de harr harr') unless Person A has bug eyes or something and even then, wtf that's not okay. /oversensitive asian.

Well the new part definitely isn't sarcasm. Whether it was intended to offend or not is the real question, and it's pretty much dependent on the type of relationship you (whoops, I mean person A) have with the other person. I mean, me and my friends throw racist jokes around all the time but we don't really care since it's all in good humour.

Sarcasm is more like:

the shark (that golfer) has broken up with his wife and me saying "oh my that infomation has absolutely ruined my day"!

That's not sarcasm... but was it meant as a joke, or were the intentions behind it a bit more sinister? It's difficult to tell as an outsider looking in...

No, it was more of a chat in a server of some sort.
