There doesn't really seem to be a consistent name amongst the various unimelb sites that mention the week. Orientation week, o-week, week o, week zero, etc. The letter I got calls it Week O, but some of their sites use a hyphenated version. I personally liked Week 0 cos it could be pronounced like Week O, but could also be interpreted as the week before Week 1. I added the hyphen because the sites I was browsing at the time had them. :P

humph, I was more concerned about the guy with the penii all over his chest when I posted that pic, haha.

Is anyone still having problems getting their host group details? Mine is still saying "invalid username or password". I'm using exactly the same details I use to log on to the student portal.

Nope everything with the Host Group is working fine for me... I'm not sure what's happening with you. Email or call them I guess?

Yep, he finally sent me an email and called me, too (still needs to upload a photo, though). Nick, you should definitely contact your student centre, I think. Going by the 'to' list, there's six other people in my group. Revel, what's your group number?

I got an email that cleared up that uni starter's guide thing, too. All is well. :)

Well, it says "approximately 10" for everyone I think, so you can't find out exactly. But I believe the page you want is http://hostprogram.unimelb.edu.au/localstudentlogon.aspx

Oh no, it's not on the host program site. I got it from the email. My host sent the same email to the rest of my group, so they're in the 'sent to:' part. It's quite weird seeing some people's email addresses (some of them have 20s at the end of theirs :o). Did anybody else get an email from that Ryan fellow? He sent it to about 500 people at the same time, lol.

Yep, no numbers for me (just for fun, I searched Nguyen and saw one with a 68!) Is there a way to update my email info? For some reason they didn't use my university one. I'd rather they use the one that anybody can access (oh noes, my middle name! how embarrassing :-[) instead of the one I use for non-uni related stuffs.

Huh? You've got: Host Scheme Day, Make Friends in a Minute, Global Friendship Night, etc. Going by Monash's eOrientation planner, you've got Melbourne beat in the number of social events AND library tours.

They sent it to the gmail address I provided, also. I think they just wanted to make sure everyone read the email.

Wow I just got mine. Err ok this is kind of strange but I only see one other person in the 'sent to' section of the email. Is it possible there are only two people in my host group?

That would suck major balls. :/

And yeah I got the email from that Ryan guy haha.
