NYE in the western suburbs lol, every second person has enough fireworks to warrant a mass military intervention :D

Haha.  TamTams in Footscray got raided by the cops on Christmas eve and all the fireworks were seized.  Amazed it took this long.  They probably only did it because of New Years though.

That place has been selling fireworks for years.  Surely the cops would have been onto them before now.

god i was in the city at the front of crown... it was pouring heaps/windy/ few umbrellas got destroyed/chaotic/crowded at crown/hot/sticky/water...water... the fireworks...meh...they were okay...nothing that amazing... the end was pretty cool but thats it... i like the fireworks better in the rural towns

The possession of fireworks/firecrackers are illegal, right? Freakin' neighbours were shooting fireworks and setting off firecrackers for a whole hour after countdown =\ And yes, it was the neighbours and not the ones from the city.
I wonder where they got them from >_>

LOL, our stupid area usually has a couple, but last night we had none :(

On the news they showed our fireworks (melbourne's) and they were pretty lame.

Lol, Sydney's fireworks wasn't all too impressive. I thought my next door neighbour made a better attempt. (mum had to run outside and give the neighbour a good lecture about noise pollution at the middle of the night) :P
