Why did you opt with UoM (ie. why did you put UoM above Monash Commerce?)

There's always honours to better your understanding if you've only done minimal subjects in an area.

System Announcement

The Student Portal is currently experiencing high amounts of traffic which is causing slow response times. Please refrain from clicking the ‘Add/Drop/Change Subjects’ link more than once when attempting to view your subjects. You subjects will appear after a short period.

Sucks....... :(

Indeed it does. Student Portal isn't even loading up for me.

But at least my LMS is working :P (but it still has my semester 2 and summer subjects listed :( )

I've looked at my 'course outline' again, and I've done some rearranging. I've managed to cram it all into 3.5 years.

A bit silly since the subjects will probably change (the semesters they're offered in, or what have you), but it's nice to know it won't take the 4 years I initially thought it would. The honours thing lumps together marketing and management, so I wouldn't want to do that. Who knows, I might end up hating accounting, or marketing, or japanese and major in eco/finance or something, but I suppose that's what semester 1 is for. :)

squance, iirc, on that lms site, it said the new subjects would go up on the 23rd.

Sorry I don't quite understand. If you want to, are you allowed to extend your degree to fit in more subjects?? Also, will you be doing Business Finance during the summer? I heard if you do this you have to pay full fee which would be something around $2500. Does that sounds correct?

You don't really extend your degree. What I'm doing (or intending to do) is taking a diploma, which will add to the time I will be at university. Yes, currently Business Finance is offered in the summer (I hope that doesn't change), and I would have to take it then to fit everything in.

fake edit: (some links)
fee thingy:

course structures with diploma: (similar to the one on p.14)
