Do you have any creepy-unexplainable experiences to share? Something that, even when you think of it now, gives your an uncomfortable, eerie, tight-in-chest, feeling?

Hmmm, can't think of one atm, but has anyone had really creepy dreams? Not really nightmares, just creepy

Several times I've dreamt that I am walking through my house at night, with all the curtains drawn and only the kitchen lamp for illumination, except the dream would seem to be in black and white, or anyway all the colours were slightly off, and there would be complete silence. There would usually be something standing in the living room, but it would be blurred so I could never see what it was. Then as I wandered through the rest of my house things would be modified, or changed around e.g. once in my room there was a locked chest where my bed is, also some paintings would be different (usually abstract), some doors locked and mirrors black... quite unsettling.

If it's any consolation that isn't at all unusual. Modified rooms, hidden passages, new doorways appearing in your house are all common in dreams. Encountering evil beings in your house tends to happen not quite as frequently, but still frequently enough that it's normal. Looking at yourself in dream mirrors is always fun because you almost always see yourself as rather distorted. Another fun thing to try is reading a book, you'll find that the text changes every time you look away then look back again.

^ too much research/practice in lucid dreaming

I always have dreams that make me feel like shit when I wake up. The other day I got phone call from a friend just before I went to sleep. It pissed me off and I beat the shit out of him and stabbed him at school in my dream. O_O.
That dream I devoted an entire thread too also made me feel like shit.

I used to have a nightmare that used to recur time and time again when I was younger. The walls of this room used to talk and make noises while closing in on me and I couldnt move. I'd just be lying paralyzed on my stomach waiting to be crushed. I think I still have the dream it just doesnt scare me any more. No dreams really scare me anymore. Theyre just unpleasant.
