I reccon collingwood for the premiership (although i hope the doggies get it) and JUDDY for brownlow (i hope).

If collingwood win on the weekend I just might be a little bit psychic

Time to revamp this topic!!

My predictions:

Hodge/Ablett for Brownlow (I don't think the umpires like Swanny), Swan following closely, then Goddard/Judd. Nick Riewoldt to post 9 votes from 3 games.
Geelong/pies prelim with Collingwood kicking 5 goals 22 behinds. Pies lose by less than 20 points.
St Kilda/WB prelim with Saints winning in a very low-scoring game.
St Kilda/Geelong grand final, St Kilda to win it by 2 goals with Hayes winning Norm Smith and Milne kicking at least one dribbler. Chapman to be best-on-ground for Cats.

Probably completely wrong.

I felt sorry for Swanny though, the hype for him and then that disappointment...people making it out to be what it wasn't...

LOL I agree. Although I dislike Collingwood, I admit they have probably been the best team in the comp this season.

They don't really have a out-and-out player like Geelong does (Ablett, Bartel, Selwood etc), but they pull together as a team really well and spread the goals around... they don't rely on one single player to kick the goals.

Collingwood is the better team.
And the better team doesn't always win.

Steven Baker to tag Cloke. Piss him off ever more so he has a scoring accuracy of 0.6.



Dal Santo always does well against the pies. I'm thinking that he could defuse Swan a bit.
What I don't understand is how Ball and Thomas have switched positions this game...could be a tactic.

I say this is going to be a very close game. If Riewoldt shines, Saints have got it.

But atm it seems like a Collingwood victory .

one man won't win u a grand final, collingwoods backline is simply perfect. maxwells plays the free man making it nigh impossible for guys like kozzy and riewoldt to take a grab in the air. harry o and shaw are like two extra midfielders. cloke doesnt need to kick 6, dawes, beams and sidebottom will certainly keep the scoreboard ticking.

Saints will probably play lock-down football. Not fashionable, but who cares? long as the pies don't win. I think Leigh Brown is going to be the game-breaker. So under-rated.
The Pies should win, considering their year. But anything can happen.

Ball is doign law/commerce at Monash at the moment. Apparently he walks into class, does a 5 minute presentation and then leaves.

I also heard he's a bit of a loner, sitting at the back of the classroom.

LOL Collingwood the better team??

Our midfield is far more classy. You think the Collingwood defense is perfect? They're trying to use OUR gameplan as their defensive system, and you better believe ours is better. With stars like Sam Fisher and Sam Gilbert at the heart of it, not only is it virtually impossible to take a mark in our forward 50, as soon as the punch comes it rebounds out of defense before you can go "WTF JUST HAPPENED"

St Kilda is a far better list and this will show today. C'ARN THE SAINTS, BRING IT HOME BOYS.
