Time to revamp this topic!!

My predictions:

Hodge/Ablett for Brownlow (I don't think the umpires like Swanny), Swan following closely, then Goddard/Judd. Nick Riewoldt to post 9 votes from 3 games.
Geelong/pies prelim with Collingwood kicking 5 goals 22 behinds. Pies lose by less than 20 points.
St Kilda/WB prelim with Saints winning in a very low-scoring game.
St Kilda/Geelong grand final, St Kilda to win it by 2 goals with Hayes winning Norm Smith and Milne kicking at least one dribbler. Chapman to be best-on-ground for Cats.

Probably completely wrong.

Goal of the year nominations are ridiculous!!

Bradshaw should not be in there. Should be Milne's round 5 goal.
Buddy will win though.

Bradshaw being in the goal of the year nominations is a DISGRACE. Didaks torp was better. even then RIOLI got dogged, Buddy will win it no doubt.

He wasn't going for goal. He was just hooking it back into the goal square for a runner.

Well obviously I don't KNOW what he was thinking, that is just my assumption. If you watch him immediately after he kicks the ball, he doesn't look at the goal, he's looking backwards towards the top of the goal square.

(btw, you claim to know what he knows, 'he takes a look and knows that NOBODY is there to run onto it,' so picking up on me 'knowing' what he was thinking is a tad hypocritical, don't you think?)

yes he knows that BECAUSE there was nobody there. that's not hypocritical, that's just logical there was literally nobody near the goal square...

stephen milne's cockiness annoys the shit out of me. easily the most hated player in the AFL.

moorcroft played out one of the most weird careers, only a handful of senior games, clearly a talented young bloke but the essendon side back then was simply impenetrable. then again i wouldnt mind playing just one game if that game happened to be one where i kicked 6 goals in one half and took wat looks to be the grab of the century.

oh and on the topic of milne, i understand he isnt the 'likeable' kind but seriously cmonn he deserves the benefit of the doubt for that goal, masterstroke.

Nah, I reckon Buddy's 50m boundary run would beat any goal. Milne's goal is a freak goal but you have to admit, it was pure luck. That being said, I'd vote for Milne because it's one of those goals that is really impressive to watch.

Well obviously I don't KNOW what he was thinking, that is just my assumption. If you watch him immediately after he kicks the ball, he doesn't look at the goal, he's looking backwards towards the top of the goal square.

He was looking at the ball actually, not the top of the goal square. Most people look at where the ball goes after they kick it.

stephen milne's cockiness annoys the shit out of me. easily the most hated player in the AFL.
He's not cocky at all...? I've never heard an actual valid reason as to why people hate Milne. It's always "he's a rapist" or "That faggot a wanker" or "Should be living in the sewers with his rat friends" or something highly unoriginal that combines the words "rapist' wanker" and "rat"...
