This arguement is silly,

Most VCE students live in the VCE Bubble - I know i do, and it's fine, you realise after apparently how encased in the bubble you were (someone told me about this vce bubble so haha yeah i think it's true).
><

I wouldn't think like that- even private school kids have to work hard, going to a privte school is  not going to help you. In fact the extra required commitments can be quite timeconsuming and hinder performances...

Anyway- Don't worry about them Andrew, and stop picking on him everyone above! ha

go on VN less :P

to answer your question, last year i was working 7 hours a week nearby, playing saxophone in the school band and studying quite a bit. I went out pretty much every weekend and even though I had lots of free periods it wore me out by the end of the year.

Currently, i work 7 hours, play saxophone and bass in bands, go out less, study slightly less, and go to uni on tuesdays and spent a couple of hours in transit to uni. It's not too bad if I don't put too much pressure on myself and tell myself I can do it later.

That being said, I don't think I could do much more. I know i technically have the time to do more than what I do, but I just feel too exhausted. On the plus side, the semester is almost over :)

wtf? olly, dcc and ninwa, im trying offer and advice and help you, and you just judge whatever i say?
get bent lol.

i was speaking to people, on my very own level too, who "know yourself that you could have studied in that block" not law students so calm down, get off ya high horses and get some work done instead of judging my assistance because it doesnt apply to you.

i bet someone watched the video and then got off the pc and facebook and msn and cod, and studied an extra hour.

Stop self-victimising. The neg was for your implication that private school kids somehow have it easy. Oh no poor you?

you must've been annoyed at the neg since you brought it up lol..
um you brought it up first

from never even seeing a private school (except fr their results) im sorry my mind was brainwashed that they had it easier.
leave me alone for chrissake - you guys really just attacked me coz i called u lazy lol...geez. get over it lol.

Wait, what? Didn't you just say that you weren't addressing ninwa...

I don't want to get into this. But andrew, although your response may well motivate in some circumstances I really don't see the relevance here. Ninwa has over 40 hours between Uni and work, the typical full time amount. And ON TOP of this she has to study and everything else she does...

Anyway, ninwa, you seem to be doing a LOT... Seems like you seriously need to free up some time, at least enough to relax a little... It is really important to

(did you not finish that sentence? :P)

So you think I'm doing too much even considering I'm only taking 3 (not 4) subjects at uni? I don't even know anymore hence trying to get objective viewpoints. But you guys are probably right. I shall go take a chill pill and stop being two tents

No no, you fill in the next bit yourself... It is only when you come to your own conclusion that you can stand strong in your decision ... (bla bla) ...

Really I was just going to say that it is really important to rest. You can't expect to run yourself ragged then change your batteries and magically keep going... You said that you need to do that much work just to complete your tasks... Hmmm ... I don't know what you can cut down, not like you're casual at maccas lol. But from what I've read, you really need to rest, after a while the permanent state of exhaustion can become more than a short term physical/mental thing..

@Ninwa, why the 3 hours of transport?  Not sure how much it would help, but perhaps having six extra hours a week not dedicated to getting yourself to places could be better spent on other things (assuming that it's possible for you to work elsewhere D:).
