thats the 2007 scaling, compare the scaling for specialist maths, 45and50 goes to 52,54 which used to be 53 and 55.
same goes for many lote subjects, last year can be scaled to 55, but this year dropped to 54

Interesting. This can only be explained by an increased number of less capable students joining the subject because of its scaling. This of course, dilutes the scaling, because you have more dumbasses to compete with (higher raws, hence less need to scale up).

Accounting unscaled at 35!!!!

omg! 2007 really is the year of the dud.

Meanwhile, you need more aggregate to get the same equivalent ENTER as well.
ENTER: Incomprehensibly high

...and that would have meant it was easier to achieve that 25 raw pre-requisite (I don't see why their pre-requisites aren't scaled).

Are you going to try next year, costargh?

Going to try?
As in going to repeat methods and try do well?
I think so. I just emailed by careers adviser person lady thingo
lol
SHe said to if I didnt get 25 in Methods.
Hmm its frustrating you know. 1 measly mark equates to 1 more year of work. Can't I buy 1 extra mark? lol

Still happy with the 40 in Legal though

Yes, pre-requisites are raw scores, which don't take into account the competitiveness of the subject. It is a bad system.

Isn't it Unit 3, Unit 4, then overall exam?

Thats only for subjects where there is only 1 exam I think

It depends on the subject. That pattern is if your subject only had 1 exam
And if you had midyears:
GA1=mid year GA2=sac GA3=end of year

I think the methods mean went down slightly this year. Last year it was 36, now it's 35.7

I think this years GA ordering is different.
For all my brothers one it went like this
GA1: mid year
GA2: end of year exam
GA3: presumed sac score cause GA1 is deff mid year
