What to do with lecture slides on Blackboard

Ok, so I just checked BTF1010 lecture slides and the first lecture has 77 slides or something ridiculous like that. I can't possibly imagine printing off all those lecture slides, even if it were 3 to a page cause thats still like 26 pages.

Under each slide there is a text book, which i presume is for people using laptops to take notes down during lectures.

What do most people do? Print them off and write next to them? Or use their laptops to take notes on each slide?

Most of the people in my classes print the lecture notes off from the LMS and bring them into class to write on them.

Look for a Microsoft Office application called OneNote, it lets you print powerpoint slides (and documents and pictures etc.) to a file as an image, and you can type anywhere on that image or to the side of the image, so you can have your lecture slides on your laptop without having to print them out as well as having your own notes next to them.

Okay that must have been really confusing to read. Just get the application if you can, it's awesome, you'll see what I mean

Somewhat Off topic but,

Do we have to print our lecture slides ourselves for all subjects, or do they give them out?

Ok, so I went to my powerpoint, Printed to Onenote but the lecture slides are too big and its annoying. I dont want to manually go through and make each slide smaller cause that wood be tedious and wood take ages. Can I make it smaller all together?

Never mind, I've made a solution which will work fine.

For anyone elses reference, just make the zoom on your page to something like 50% and then make your typing font (where you will write your notes) a large size like size 26.

Does anyone know how to CHANGE THE DEFAULT FONT SIZE??? Cause everytime i write something new it goes back to size 11 and its annoying!!!

For Bio, they should have all the lecture notes printed into one big book that you can buy at the Biology place at Redmond Barry.
For Chem, there is the lab manual and subject guide we can purchase at the Chem shop. There is some stuff in chem however that we need to print (well...you don't have to unless you want a paper copy of it)

Finance definitely you need to print out. Not sure for physics though...

But its up to you whether or not you want to print.
I need to print because i hate reading off the computer screen when im trying to study.

I found how to change default size on onenote

Tools>Options>Editing> Change default size

YAY

This is really cool.

You should really consider using OneNote to take notes in lectures. It's so simple to use.

YOU JUST CLICK ANYWHERE ON THE PAGE AND START TYPING. ITS THAT SIMPLE!!!
